Grand County, Colorado

Grand County was created on February 2, 1874 and was split from Summit County. The county was named for Grand River. The county seat is Hot Sulphur Springs.

Grand County is bordered by Larimer County (northeast), Gilpin County (east), Boulder County ( east), Clear Creek Countysoutheast), Summit County (south), Eagle County ( southwest), Jackson County (northwest), Routt County (northwest).
