Power County was created on January 30, 1913 and was formed from Bingham County, Blaine County, and Oneida County. The county was named for American Falls Power Plant . The county seat is American Falls .
Power County is bordered by Bannock County (east), Oneida County (south), Bingham County (north), Blaine County (north and west), Cassia County (southwest) .
