Muhlenberg County, Kentucky

The thirty-second county in order of formation, Muhlenberg County is located in west-central Kentucky. Muhlenberg County was was formed in 1799 from portions of Christian and Logan counties and was named in honor of Gen. John Peter Muhlenberg, a hero of the Revolutionary War and congressman from Pennsylvania. The county seat is GREENVILLE.
